Rising Stars, All Star & Junior Masters Leagues - Event 1 Results- Sunday 5th May 2019

Our new junior leagues kicked off the first event of the season on Sunday 5th May 2019.

The day saw the introduction of our new junior blue tees offering a new league that bridges the gap between the short Academy Course and the full sized holes of the main course played from the red tees. 

The format of the new leagues was a roaring success with lots of juniors progressing from last seasons old 'C-League' format which was played on the Academy Course to the new blue tees of the Rising Stars League.

In total we had 27 juniors play within one of the three leagues with numbers in each league pretty evenly distributed with:

6 players competing in the Junior Masters league over 18 holes from the white tees.

13 players competing in the All Star league over 9 holes from the red & yellow tees.

9 players competing in the Rising Stars league over 9 holes from the blue tees.

This combined with the 23 players playing the Little Hitters league the previous day saw 50 juniors in total compete in one of our junior leagues over the weekend, an absolutely amazing number and a sign of the awesome strength of our junior section here at Bromsgrove.

Congratulations to the winners of each league and well done to all juniors taking part, there was some amazing talent on display and some fantastic support from parents and the junior committee.
